Everyone has trouble with loving their self. We are filled with such negativity in our lives that it cause us to think that were not such great human being or that were not good enough to do anything. People tend to struggle when their starting to change their perspective of themselves because they believe for their whole life that weren't good enough like for example not pretty enough or smart enough.
The beginning process is always hard because its hard to track every negative thing you say about yourself and sometimes you forget that your on the road to finding your happiness but once you get into the habit of having positive thoughts, your whole reality can change to a more positive and fulfilling one. For the ones who want to staring loving yourself here are some tricks to get you started. I'll be referencing to a book called You are a Badass How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life by Jen Sincero I recommend everyone to read this book if you want to change your life
1. Appreciate how Amazing you are:
Stop looking at the negative side of you and appreciate how special you are as a person your are. your the only person on this world that does everything differently than other and has gifts that you can share to the world. Your a star and you shine differently than everyone else, take advantage of that.
2. Replace your Thinking:
Every time something happen to you or every time you make a error one of the first things in your mind is we start bashing our self like for example I did a photo shoot the other day and I'm really picky on how I look on camera so when my photographer shows me the picture most of the time I usually found a flaws in the photo and I quickly tell the photographer that we need to take more and in my mind I say I don't like how my hair was in this picture or that my face looks chubby and I start putting my self down. When I was on this journey, I had to replace all the negative thinking I have and create a positive thoughts the best thing to do to get started is write a list of negative thoughts you say, read them, let it go and replace them with better thoughts.
3. Don't Compare Yourself to Others:
I cannot stress you guys enough about this one, STOP comparing yourself to other it really lowers your self esteem and has you at the state of you can never be better than this person. It's non of your business what somebody else is doing and once your seeing what they accomplish and you feel your not doing as much with your life and life isn't as fun or happy anymore. Try to remember the stuff that you accomplish in your life and mind your own business if at the end of day it makes you happy at the end of the day.
4. Let all the Love in:
Does someone every gave you a complement on your outfit and you start to say this old thing instead of saying thank you? these are signs that you don't think you all that and you can't receive love from another person. When someone complaint don't start out with the negative first, take the complaint tell the person thank you receive the love that you deserve.
