Hey guys, welcome to my first blog post in this series. The Series is basically a week in a life college blog series. I want to show you guys the ups and downs of being a college student and give advice on how to get through it all. Plus for anyone who pursuing fashion and wants to attend fashion school this will be a great way to learn the experience from a fashion student point of view. The college I attend is Humber College in the west side of Toronto my program is Bachelor of Commerce and I major in Fashion Management. After graduating college I either want to pursue Fashion Marketing and Advertising, Fashion personal Styling or get my Master degree in Fashion Marketing. Right now I'm in my second semester in my program, and so far I'm extremely happy with the classes I'm taking and I this semester is going to be better than last semester (don't worry I didn't fail or anything I got a 3.0 GPA but I thought I could have done better). But I'm ready to slay this semester. I have five classes this semester and those classes include: Business Information System Statistics for Business Management Organizational Behaviour Macroeconomics Business Communication My program work differently than other fashion programs in the city which basically I have to do two years of just strictly business related course and then my last two years I integrate more into more fashion-related classes this blog I'm going to talk what I did each day of the week so I hope you enjoy. Monday: It was the first day back to school since the holidays and I had a month off so adjusting back to the early classes schedule plus going to class (like guys I forgot how to get to school this morning and almost got on the wrong bus) it was hard to readjust but I'm getting through. On Monday's I have two classes which was Business Information System (which was at 8 am by the way) and Statistic in the afternoon. And already on the first day of class in Business info System my teacher gave us first assignment and we went into the lab to work on it and I had basically a three hour break then had statistic but because my professor kid was really sick we only had class for only 20 minutes that and I went home to finish that assignment. If your teacher gives you any assignment on the first day of class make sure you get that done on the day they give it to you so you don't have to worry about it and you can be less stress. Tuesday: For the rest of the week I have one class each day and Tuesday I had Organizational Behaviour and I think that class for me is going to be the hardest and I think is because the professor I have. Don't get me wrong my professor and really nice and sweet but I think for me personally the concept are going to be hard to grasp and I've to work even harder to get my GPA really high in this. but that okay I'm always down to work hard. Wednesdays: My Wednesday was so basic like I just wanted to go home that day, I had Macroeconomic and it was an 8am and honestly I was so tired that day I was really thinking if I shouldn't go or not but I wanted to make a good learning impression plus I just wanted to learn about the economy since I was interested in it and honestly I've learn so much in that one class alone than in two months of my microeconomics like I felt confident that I cant do this but if your struggling in one class make sure you take the full potential of help that your school offer, like for example my college offer peer tutor, math center, accountant, writing labs and etc so if student are struggling in one area they can get help by someone who knows there stuff. ✨Thursday: This Day was basically my favourite day of the week, not only do I have one class that day which is Business Communication and it ended early and your girl was so happy. But because this is the last class I had this week it was time to celebrate the long weekend or myself and I can final relax after a long week of getting back into the school grind. But before I had to attend to my class I actually had a club meeting in the fashion building, so the club I join is called AFBS (Association of Fashion Business Student). which bring together the whole fashion program to help get to know each other and promote that even though the program is four years and two out of the four your only focusing fashion and I had so much fun discussing future event for the group and it just remind me why I decided to go to school in this major so I can't wait. I'm so excited for what this semester has to offer. I hope you guys enjoy this blog and see you guys next week.
